Based on my careful research and experience navigating broker offerings, I have to be straightforward—trading specific assets like Gold (XAU/USD) or Crude Oil is not possible with Akatsuki. According to their current product scope, Akatsuki’s services are focused exclusively on investment trusts, stocks, and bonds. There’s no mention of forex, precious metals, energy commodities, indices, or similar products being available for trading. This limitation is important for someone with my interests, as I often diversify across various asset classes to manage risk and capture different market opportunities. I was also cautious in evaluating the pros and cons presented by their operational transparency and regulation. Although Akatsuki is regulated by the Financial Services Agency (FSA) in Japan and has a physical office—factors that offer some reassurance—the relatively narrow asset selection is a major constraint for me. I noticed that some users raised concerns about the limited information and transparency, which aligns with my own experience trying to access detailed product or platform specifics. For traders whose strategies rely on exposure to gold, oil, or other commodities, Akatsuki simply does not fit the bill. Personally, I would not consider them if my goal were to trade these assets, and I advise others to confirm a broker’s exact product list before making decisions that could affect their financial situation.
