From my perspective as an experienced forex trader who prioritizes transparency and regulatory clarity, Leverate does pose a number of fundamental issues that overshadow its features. First and foremost, Leverate is not a retail broker and does not accept individual trading accounts. Their primary business is offering technology and liquidity solutions to other brokers, not serving individual traders like myself. This is a crucial distinction—attempting to engage with Leverate directly as a retail trader is not possible. In terms of potential advantages, Leverate has a history dating back to 2008 and provides well-known technological solutions such as MT4 integrations and other brokerage infrastructure. For brokerages or prop firms seeking backend solutions, their platforms are mature and seem to offer risk management tools and customizable interfaces. However, the disadvantages, particularly from a YMYL and trustworthiness point of view, are significant. Leverate is associated with a suspicious CySEC regulatory license—specifically, there are claims of a "clone" license using details from a legitimate entity but operating under a different, unapproved domain. This is a major red flag for anyone concerned with fund safety. Furthermore, CySEC has explicitly removed Leverate from its Investor Compensation Fund and clarified that its legitimacy is questionable. For me, the inability to open an account, the confusion around their regulatory status, and the risk warnings from multiple sources are all strong enough reasons to urge extreme caution. I would avoid any engagement unless I was a business seeking technological infrastructure, and even then, I would carry out additional due diligence regarding their regulatory status.
