As a trader with a focus on due diligence, I always pay close attention to the details of account costs—especially spreads, which can have a significant impact on trading outcomes over time. When it comes to Tradovate, I could not find any specific information regarding typical spreads for the EUR/USD or any forex pairs. Based on my review, Tradovate only offers trading in futures and options, and does not provide access to spot forex products, including EUR/USD. The absence of forex instruments is confirmed in their trading product list, which mentions only futures and options are supported on the platform. Additionally, Tradovate uses a commission-based fee structure rather than spreads for its listed futures products. For standard accounts, commissions start at $1.29 per contract, with lower rates for monthly or lifetime plans. However, no reference is made to conventional forex spreads at all. In my experience, the lack of transparency regarding spreads—and, more importantly, the fact that forex trading itself isn’t available—makes the platform unsuitable for those seeking to trade currency pairs like EUR/USD. Given the high-risk warnings and regulatory concerns, I strongly recommend exercising caution and verifying acceptable trading products carefully before considering Tradovate for any forex-related activities. For actual forex trading—especially with clear spread disclosures—it's advisable to seek out brokers with robust regulation and transparent cost structures.
