Having navigated the forex industry for years, I've learned to scrutinize brokers carefully before committing funds. My experience with M&G left me more cautious than hopeful. On the surface, M&G presents appealing aspects: the company claims a long operating history (5-10 years), a very low barrier to entry with only a £1 minimum deposit, and multiple payment options. These are certainly features that might initially attract both new and experienced clients. However, the real issues become evident upon deeper examination. M&G’s FCA license has reportedly been "exceeded," which in regulatory terms means their regulatory status may not be currently valid. This is critical—without active, clear oversight, client protections can be compromised. Further, multiple user reports indicate major withdrawal problems; funds remain under review, withdrawals are not processed, and customer support often becomes unreachable when issues arise. In my own practice, reliability of withdrawals is non-negotiable—any sign of delays or missing funds is a red flag I simply cannot ignore. The overall risk is amplified by user claims of vanished balances and additional fees to correct “account issues.” While some channels of customer support exist, the general tone and evidence lean heavily towards high risk and unsatisfactory client experiences. For me, the combination of potential regulatory lapses and unresolved withdrawal complaints far outweighs the minor conveniences. Approaching M&G requires utmost caution; personally, I would not risk my capital here given the significant disadvantages involved.
