This lack of clarity stood out to me as a cautious trader because, with most brokers, inactivity fees and their terms are usually specified upfront in client agreements or frequently asked questions. The absence of this information makes it difficult for me to fully assess potential hidden costs that may impact an account over time, especially if I decided to take a break from trading. Given that AP CAPITAL is regulated by the Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong (SFC), I would expect adherence to industry standards regarding disclosure of all fees, including those related to account inactivity. However, the broker’s scope of business was flagged as “suspicious” regarding transparency, and key account details—such as minimum deposit, payment methods, or demo account availability—are similarly opaque. In my view, this is a red flag for any trader concerned about long-term cost management. For me, full transparency is essential—especially when it comes to fees that could erode capital over time during periods of low activity.
