As someone who has evaluated numerous brokers over the years, I pay close attention to the transparency and competitiveness of fee structures, especially since these directly impact my bottom line. With Shenzhou Capital, I notice several different account options, each with its own spread and commission arrangement. For most account types, spreads start from 1.2 to 1.6 pips, which is on the higher side compared to what I’ve seen with established, regulated brokers. The tightest spread advertised is 0.4 pips, but access to that requires a substantial minimum deposit of $20,000 and comes bundled with a $5 commission per trade. In the accounts with a lower entry barrier, I haven’t seen clear indications of additional commissions, suggesting they may be rolled into the spread, but this lack of transparency is itself a concern. Importantly, Shenzhou Capital lacks clear regulatory oversight, which makes me even more cautious when evaluating their published fee terms — as an experienced trader, I view unclear or inconsistent fee disclosures as a potential red flag. While it’s tempting to focus on leverage or product range, I remind myself and others that cost transparency and regulatory safety should always come first, as hidden fees or sudden changes can undermine any potential trading advantage. For my own portfolio, I am careful about relying on brokers whose fee structures and oversight are not clearly established.
