While UCMarkets offers many appealing features like tight spreads and multiple platform versions, the unregulated status due to the Exceeded FSA regulation is a significant risk for me. Trading with an unregulated broker, or one with Exceeded status, can expose me to various financial risks that are not present with brokers regulated by well-known authorities like FCA or ASIC. As a trader, I value the protection that comes with strong regulatory oversight, which includes proper segregation of funds and the ability to resolve disputes through financial services compensation schemes. The unregulated nature of UCMarkets could mean I have fewer options to pursue legal action in case of issues with the broker, which is a major risk I personally wouldn’t want to take.
