Cerus Markets is regulated under the Labuan Financial Services Authority (LFSA) in Malaysia, with a registration number of MB/148/2021. While this regulatory framework may be more flexible than others like FCA or ASIC, it still provides a level of oversight, which can give traders some degree of confidence. However, unregulated brokers still carry risks, and I personally prefer working with brokers who are regulated by top-tier authorities, especially if I’m trading with significant capital. Even though Cerus ensures segregated client funds and provides security measures, the lack of regulation from highly reputable bodies like the FCA makes me cautious.
