Yes, while Moneta Markets has a lot of appealing features, there are some cons. The biggest issue for me is the offshore regulation by the Seychelles FSA. Though it’s better than being unregulated, it doesn’t offer the same level of protection and accountability as brokers regulated by major authorities like FCA or ASIC. This means there might be a lack of transparency and consumer protection, which concerns me as a trader. Additionally, some traders have raised doubts about the legitimacy of Moneta Markets based on user reviews, which makes me more cautious. The inactivity fee is another downside, especially since it’s not always disclosed upfront. If I were to take a break from trading, I’d be charged a fee, which feels like an unnecessary cost for not being active.
