From my personal experience, GuoYuan feels safe. Since it’s under the direct supervision of SFC, I know they must follow strict rules related to client fund protection and operational transparency. That’s a big part of why I felt confident giving them a try.
Since the platform focuses on securities and regulated futures, leverage is likely available but strictly controlled under Hong Kong SFC rules. I didn’t see any mention of specific ratios, so I’d suggest contacting them directly for leverage details.
Unfortunately, the platform doesn’t publish detailed fee schedules publicly, so I had to request specifics from their customer service. That said, given it’s a licensed SFC firm, fees are likely aligned with standard industry practices, but I’d still recommend asking directly.
When I applied, I used a personal bank cheque, which they require for account activation. It must match your ID info and the account name, and they only process the account once the cheque is cleared. They didn’t mention other online payment methods.
