Purpose

The Hong Kong foreign exchange market is an international forex market that developed after the 1970s. As one of the international financial centers, Hong Kong's forex market features active trading, numerous participants, and a rich variety of trading products. It occupies an important position in forex trading in Asia and globally. To help investors or professionals gain a more comprehensive understanding of forex brokers in this region, the on-site inspection team conducted field visits in Hong Kong.

Process

This time, the on-site inspection team went to Hong Kong, China as planned to conduct a field visit to the forex broker Yangohk. According to publicly available information, its office address is Room 3208, Crown Tower, 3 Garden Road, Central, Hong Kong.

A professional and experienced site inspection team, driven by a sense of mission to rigorously safeguard investors, proceeded according to a meticulously planned schedule to Hong Kong, China, to conduct an on-site verification of the trader Yangohk claiming to be located at Room 3208, Crown House, 3 Garden Road, Central, Hong Kong.

The inspection personnel successfully arrived at Crown House, located on Garden Road in Central Hong Kong, with a bustling surrounding environment and a strong commercial atmosphere. However, no signage or related information of the company was found on the exterior of the building.

The inspection personnel entered the building lobby and explained their purpose to the security guard. After communication, permission to enter the building was obtained. However, no directory board (water plate) for the company was found inside the building.

Due to lack of an appointment, the inspection personnel could not access the target floor (32nd floor) to confirm the specific location. When inquiring at the lobby reception desk, the receptionist stated that there was no company named Yangohk. The inspection personnel were unable to photograph the reception desk and logo of Yangohk, and the office was not a shared office.

The inspection personnel found no information regarding this trader, and based on a comprehensive assessment, concluded that the trader's actual situation is false. Therefore, after the site inspection, it was confirmed that trader Yangohk does not exist at the aforementioned address.

Conclusion

The on-site inspectors visited the forex broker Yangohk at its publicly displayed business address in Hong Kong, China as planned, but were unable to see any information such as the broker's company name at that location, indicating that the broker does not have a genuine business premises. Investors are advised to make their choice after comprehensive consideration.
