However, it's estimated that 39 million Americans won't go on summer vacation this year because they can't afford it.After reading that figure, Sarah Dusek, CEO of glamping company Under Canvas, wanted to do something to make quality outdoor travel more economically accessible.Now, Under Canvas is introducing their #paywhatyoucan campaign to give travelers the opportunity to take an amazing vacation at a price they can afford.To apply, those who wish to pay a reduced price for a glamping experience this summer need to fill out Under Canvas' application online, explaining why they'd like to be selected for a trip, where they would like to go, how many people are in their household, and provide a range of their income.Read more: An ex-Wall Street banker is offering luxury camping rentals that could be the future of weekend getawaysThe company will consider all applications that are submitted before the campaign deadline of Tuesday, June 4. Decisions will be announced on June 7.The selected families will receive a stay at one of the eight Under Canvas camps, paying only what they can afford. Under Canvas has locations in national parks around the country, including the Great Smoky Mountains, Mount Rushmore, Grand Canyon, Zion, Moab, Yellowstone, Glacier, or Tucson.
