I am submitting this complaint regarding Giraffe Markets for withholding approximately USD 22,000 of my remaining capital and refusing to process my withdrawal. During my trading activity with Giraffe Markets, I have already incurred approximately USD 28,000 in trading losses. After these trading losses, I still have approximately USD 22,000 of my own capital remaining in my trading account. I requested to withdraw this remaining USD 22,000. However, Giraffe Markets has refused to process my withdrawal. The reason communicated to me is that my account did not generate sufficient profit for the broker and that the broker incurred payment gateway fees in connection with my deposits/transactions. Giraffe Markets is therefore seeking to treat my remaining capital as compensation for these alleged costs. This is extremely concerning to me. I accept that approximately USD 28,000 was lost through my own trading activity. I am not disputing those trading losses. My complaint specifically concerns the remaining approximately USD 22,000 that belongs to me and is now being withheld from withdrawal. The USD 22,000 was not lost through trading. Giraffe Markets is withholding it because of alleged payment gateway fees and because, according to the explanation given to me, my account was not profitable enough for the broker. I have requested that Giraffe Markets provide the contractual basis showing where I agreed that my remaining capital could be withheld to compensate the broker for payment gateway fees or because the broker did not generate sufficient profit from my account. I am therefore requesting that Giraffe Markets immediately release my remaining approximately USD 22,000 for withdrawal.
