GMI Review: Withdrawals Stalled, Login Complaints, and Broker Regulation Alarms
خلاصہ۔:GMI shows revoked FCA and VFSC records, an unverified VFSC record, and a heavy wave of recent complaints. Users report withdrawals trapped in PTK/TPK wallets, missing funds, official silence, and login failures that block access to money.

A trader says USD 47,800 never arrived. The withdrawal was shown as stuck around a PTK wallet site, but the site allegedly could not be opened, and GMI “official” support did not reply.
That is not a small delay. It is the kind of silence that makes a trader keep refreshing, checking balances, and wondering whether the money is still reachable.
Our GMI review found a much wider pattern. Recent complaints describe withdrawals marked as processed but not received, wallet sites that cannot be opened, customer service that stops responding, and one severe account-access case where a user said passwords and email details were changed before a large balance was later shown as zero.
GMI Regulation Audit: The License Picture Traders Must See
The user pain does not stand alone. It sits beside a harsh regulation picture.
Our investigation reveals that GMI is listed with revoked regulatory records in the United Kingdom and Vanuatu, plus an unverified Vanuatu record. The broker is also connected to two regulatory disclosure warnings, including an Indonesian BAPPEBTI disclosure about blocked illegal commodity futures websites and a Malaysian Securities Commission investor alert entry for unauthorized activity involving GMI Edge / GMI-related websites.
| Regulator | License Type | REAL STATUS |
|---|---|---|
| UK FCA | Financial Institution / license no. 677530 | Revoked |
| Vanuatu VFSC | License no. 14647 | Unverified |
| Vanuatu VFSC | License no. 14646 | Revoked |
This matters because retail Forex traders rely on regulation when something goes wrong. When funds are delayed, when a withdrawal route breaks, or when an account becomes inaccessible, strong active supervision can be the difference between a dispute and a dead end.
GMIs WikiFX score is listed at 1.26. Its influence rank is C. WikiFX also records that complaints received against GMI reached 204 in the past three months. That number is not a footnote. It is a warning flare.
GMI Broker Withdrawal Complaints: PTK, TPK, and Missing Money
The most recent 2026 complaints circle around the same core fear: money leaves the trading platform, but does not reach the trader.
One user said GMI routed a withdrawal to TPK, then TPK “closed the website.” Customer service allegedly said they were contacting the other side, but a month passed and “customers were not responding.” The user added that the wallet could not be logged into and the withdrawal could not be completed.
Another user said that after GMI announced an exit, withdrawals were submitted. Some early payments arrived, then later requests were allegedly no longer processed. The platform, according to the complaint, said funds had gone to a PTK wallet, while the client said they could not know what had really happened and believed GMI should take responsibility for withdrawal problems.
A third 2026 complaint reported USD 156,000 requested for withdrawal, with only USD 5,200 received. The user said the withdrawal displayed as successful, but the official PTK site could not be opened.
These complaints are not identical. But the rhythm is similar: withdrawal request, partial or no arrival, wallet obstruction, and weak response.
GMI Login Issues Exposed: Access Problems Raise the Stakes
The login issue is not an abstract platform feature. It appears directly in user reports.
In one 2026 case, a trader said a wallet “could not be logged into,” leaving funds impossible to withdraw. In a 2025 case from Germany, a user claimed they found they could not log in on August 14, 2020, and customer service allegedly said the account email and password had been changed by someone else.
That German complaint is one of the most severe on record here. The user said the account balance had shown USD 11,170,224.86 on August 5, 2020. They said GMI staff later confirmed in a March 9, 2021 video meeting that the account balance was zero. The user alleged that despite repeated follow-ups, including formal email complaints in December 2025, GMI did not provide an investigation report, login logs, trading records, or compensation.
The platform information reviewed also states that GMI uses a self-developed mobile platform and that the setup lacks safer login features such as two-step login and biometric authentication. That does not prove wrongdoing. But when users are already reporting access failures, weaker login protection becomes a serious risk factor.
Visual Evidence: Current-Year GMI Complaints Needing Urgent Review
Trading Environment Complaints: Slippage, Spreads, and Sudden Losses
The withdrawal wave is only one side of the GMI broker record. Many 2025 and 2024 complaints focus on execution.
Users reported severe slippage, widened spreads, delayed server order reporting, abnormal prices, and accounts allegedly liquidated during unusual market conditions. Several complaints linked losses to November 28, 2025, describing abnormal quotes, CME-related technical disruption claims, widened spreads, and requests for raw tick data or liquidity provider execution records.
One trader reported a loss of -282,416.72 USC after what they described as abnormal pricing and forced closure. Others alleged slippage of USD 40, spread expansion, or prices that did not match other market references.
GMIs account conditions also show very high leverage: up to 1:1000 on a Standard account and 1:500 on an ECN account. High leverage can magnify both gains and losses. When it meets disputed execution, the result can be brutal for small traders.
Key Red Flags in This GMI Review
- Revoked regulation records: UK FCA and one Vanuatu VFSC record are marked revoked.
- Unverified regulation record: Another Vanuatu VFSC record is marked unverified.
- Heavy complaint volume: WikiFX records 204 GMI complaints in the past three months.
- Withdrawal and access risk: Users report missing withdrawals, inaccessible PTK/TPK wallets, and login problems.
Is GMI Broker Safe for Forex Traders?
Based only on the available records, this is a high-risk broker profile.
GMI has been operating since 2015 and offers mobile trading through its own platform. It lists Standard and ECN accounts, online support, and multiple language service channels. But those surface features do not erase revoked regulation records, regulatory disclosures, and repeated complaints about funds not arriving.
For retail Forex traders, the most important question is simple: can you withdraw when you need to? The complaints here repeatedly challenge that point.
The verdict is urgent. Until GMI clearly resolves the reported withdrawal blockages, explains wallet failures, addresses login-related allegations, and shows a stronger regulation position, traders should treat this broker as a severe-risk environment and protect capital first.
